AEP knew that they needed to change the way they were controlling their inventory. It was important for management to not only understand what products they were using in high frequency, but also confirm that they had the right employees using the right PPE for the appropriate jobs. Through vending, not only is AEP able to track who is acquiring different safety items, but they’re also able to control what items get dispensed to people in what job or application, so they can keep everyone safe using the products that have been tested successfully for their jobs.
