Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our automated supply vending company in Indianapolis, IN.  This open role is due to tremendous growth within the organization and has great potential for personal and career development.  Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to multitask and should be comfortable with changing directions on the fly due to IVM’s diverse customers’ needs. The overall tasks include but are not limited to developing modern web applications using C#, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET platform, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.  Reporting to the CIO, this position joins a close-knit technical team and requires an excellent ability to work as a team player as well as complete tasks independently.

Qualifications include:

  • Experienced in .NET framework.
  • Expert with C#, MS SQL and .NET web forms as a combination.
  • Familiar with Microsoft MVC and Agile methodologies.
  • Well versed in the full SDLC.
  • Familiar with SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and troubleshooting a SQL database using queries and knowledge of the basic Microsoft SQL tools such as Agent and Maintenance.
  • Previous experience with Visual Studio and TFS, competent to merge, branch, organize and deploy software release builds.

Position Requirements:

  • Formal Education & Certification
  • BS degree in the field of computer science or similar and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Limited on-call availability during non-business hours.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.

You must be able to pivot from making fifty phone calls just to chase down a lead to managing and cultivating firms relationships to commanding attention in a room with C-Suite leaders at firms like Intel, Facebook, HP or Wesco (all existing IVM clients).
